We like to see your smiling face in person here at CUMC! Face-to-face communications are certainly the best way to exchange ideas, concerns, information, and news. However, we have a variety of other ways to Share the Good News! If you have suggestions or need a form to request specific communications for an upcoming event, send an email to email@example.com.
Weekly Email Blast: Every week, the office sends an email on Friday afternoons with Church news, events, volunteer opportunities, broader community information. We use Constant Contact to send these emails, usually with the title "CUMC News Week of [Date]". Add us to your safe senders list! If you would like to receive these emails, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
E-mail: The CUMC listserv is a great way to share prayer requests, news, and information with other Clarendon members. You can join by sending an e-mail to email@example.com with "Subscribe to CUMCnews" in the subject line. Need to reach the church office assistant? No problem, just send a note to firstname.lastname@example.org.
News from the Pews: Every week the bulletin insert, News from the Pews, is sent to the homes of everyone in the congregation, either electronically or by mail, and is also available online. To be sure you are receiving your copy, please include your name, email, and address in the red Friendship Register that is in each pew during worship. You can also e-mail the church office at email@example.com to request yours.
Good NewsLetter: Every month, we send out a more robust newsletter than the News from the Pews. The Good NewsLetter lists birthdays, more thought provoking articles, what we have been up to at CUMC and more indepth information about what is coming up. Like all communications, we are striving to go electronic as much as possible so that our information is more up to date and to cut printing and mailing costs. Please e-mail the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org to request yours.
Senior Snippets: A monthly communications device called Senior Snippets is sent out to the Older Adults in the congregation with news and views of our congregation. This is an attempt at keeping those who can no longer come to church connected with their beloved church.
The Web Site: www.clarendonumc.org is loaded with event calendars, upcoming activities, and information about each of our active church organizations. Please drop by often, and if you need something posted to the website, be sure to send the details to our webmaster, email@example.com.
