"Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise Him!" Psalm 33:1
There are several choral programs offered for young people at Clarendon. Each one is a dynamic music education environment whose foundation is rooted in Christian principles and spiritual growth. Rehearsals are fun! Children and youth participate in festivals, service projects, liturgical dance, musicals, retreats, devotions, prayer, games and much more. All groups share their music at both the contemporary and traditional services, as well as in special worship settings throughout the year.
Preschoolers, kindergarteners and 1st graders are introduced to the music program through the Cherub Choir, children in 2nd-5th grade participate in the Children's Choir and students in grades 6-12 sing in the Youth Choir. Every one of our ensembles provides a unique environment where every student is loved and has value. They learn to share that same love with their peers, community and family. Music is the vehicle by which they strengthen their relationship with God, share quality time with their friends and nurture their self-esteem. Come join us!
