NEW PARENTING CLASS BEGINS MAY 19!
Please join us for a new 6-week Bible study! We will read and discuss Parenting with Purpose and Grace, by Alice Fryling. If you are seeking opportunities for fellowship and reflection with other parents, this study is for you! Come discover what the Bible says about how to reflect the love, wisdom, and grace of God in our parenting. We will discuss how God parents us, how to pray for our kids, how to handle our own fears and failures, and how to entrust our children to God. Dinner is served from 5:30-6:00pm in Corry Hall, and the study will run from 6:00-6:45pm in the Youth Room. Childcare is provided! RSVP: Kellie Brown, email@example.com. MORE SMALL GROUP OPPORTUNITIES.....
The heart of Clarendon UMC is the many small study groups meeting weekly and monthly to feast on the word of God and fellowship with other seekers. We have traditional Sunday School classes for Adults, Youth, and Children every Sunday morning. We have two women’s bible study groups meeting during the week and a men’s group (aka Murky Men) that gets together in the Youth Room on Saturday mornings. A new Mom’s group meets monthly to share in the joys and challenges of raising children in the DC area, and our United Methodist Women focus on mission opportunities around the world. A marriage ministry fellowship meets monthly for a time of study and getting together over dinner.
We welcome you to learn more about all of our groups and check us out!
