Clarendon has a traditional Sunday School hour each week for all grade school children (K - 5th grade). With volunteer teachers providing active, thought provoking and Bible driven lessons, each class learns more about God and his amazing love and grace. The older children have a variety of field trips and make visits to Retirement Homes. For more information on specific classes check Children's Sunday School.
Members of the Children's Choir and Handbell Choirs are in grades 2-5 and they meet weekly on Wednesdays. Through the children's music program students begin to read music, explore sacred music history, learn two-part anthems and songs, and lead worship not only through music, but through art, drama and liturgical dance. Children participate in musicals, festivals, special events and regularly sing and ring in the worship services. These ensembles are led by Lisa Gibbs-Smith, Director of Worship Arts.
